Description
What is ginger?
Ginger was first cultivated in ancient China and spread to Europe via the Silk Road. Over 5000 years ago, Indians and Chinese considered ginger root as a tonic for all ailments. It was popular during the Roman Empire and a favourite ingredient of the Arabs spice trade. In the 11th century, western countries used it to add taste to buttermilk drinks and in the 14th century a pound of ginger held a value equal to that of a whole live sheep!
Why choose Healthspan's Ginger capsules?
We make our capsules with high levels of ginger extract. This formulation, especially developed by our expert nutritionists, contains 100 mg of a highly concentrated ginger extract, equivalent to an impressive 12000 mg of whole ginger root, providing a minimum of 20 mg of gingerols − the main ingredients contained within the ginger root. We also make our capsules small so they are easy for you to swallow.
Complementary products
Ginger is often described as a 'Perfect Partner' to Super20® Pro, which contains a blend of 20 billion live 'friendly' bacteria to support the protective intestinal microflora naturally found in your gut.
