Description
What are cranberries?
In the 17th century, New England cranberries were nicknamed 'bearberries' as it was the favourite meal of bears who were often seen feeding on them. These days, cranberries are just as popular with humans as they are with bears − and for good reason! Derived from a North American plant closely related to the blueberry, cranberries have been used in cooking for centuries and in recent years they have been the focus of numerous scientific studies. Cranberries contain beneficial levels of vitamin C and the mineral manganese, as well as dietary fibre and various phytochemicals, including proanthocyanidins (PACs) − the flavonoid associated with cranberry's benefits.
Why choose Healthspan's Cranberry tablets?
Our Cranberry tablets are made from a concentrated, natural source cranberry extract, equivalent to a minimum of 10000 mg of whole, fresh cranberries. We also add vitamin C to support your immune health and protect your cells from oxidative stress.
